Yes. Lupus has a
variety of effects on the brain. With time, lupus tends to affect the brain to
some degree in the majority of patients. Most people with lupus will develop
headaches of varying intensity. Other affects of lupus on the brain may include
dizziness, changes in behavior, hallucinations and seizures. As the disorder
progresses, most people will develop loss of short term memory, difficult
concentrating, confusion, depression and an inability to express their thoughts
and concerns.
